Similar finish to Aluminum Oxide, yet lower in cost. New, sharp angular-granule shape and hardness make Fast Cut MAX last longer, cut faster, and reduce the dust level inside the cabinet. Lower dust means better visibility. Recommended for paint, rust, and scale removal leaving a flat/coarse-textured finish which is ideal for primer adhesion. A great, all-around abrasive for automotive parts blasting.
Grit size 50, brown color.
TECH TIP: When using a Skat Blast® Cabinet, a variety of dry abrasives can be used. Generally, the higher the grit number, the finer the abrasive. The finer the abrasive, the smoother the finish. Coarse-grit abrasives cut fast, but the finish isn't as smooth as fine-grit abrasives. Always change abrasive on a regular basis.
