STANDARD GROUND SHIPPING & PACKAGING - US-48 STATES - Requires mailbox for delivery. Most items ship Standard Ground Service, US-48 States. Shipping & Packaging charges are determined by the weight or merchandise total, and will be added to the order per the Standard Ground Shipping Rate Chart below. No CODs. For rush orders, call 1-800-321-9260 for cost of Next Day or 2nd Day Air. (These options are not available on-line.) Consignee Billing - sorry, not available.

SHIPPING SURCHARGE - Orders over 50 lbs or some items (body filler, primer, undercoating, etc.) require additional shipping due to their weight and special packaging. This surcharge is noted on the product's page.

OVERSIZED/DIMENSIONAL ITEM - US-48 STATES - Oversized items and dimensional weight packages are calculated by the actual size of the shipping box. A box weighing 10 lbs could have a dimensional weight of 30 lbs depending on the item and box size. If your order has an oversized item or dimensional box(es), you will be notified prior to shipping and extra shipping costs will incur. These charges apply to Standard Ground and Air Packages.


TRUCK MOTOR FREIGHT ZONE SHIPPING MAP - US-48 STATES

TRUCK MOTOR FREIGHT - US-48 States - Blast cabinets, compressors, or heavy or large items noted "Heavy Item: See Zone Shipping Charge" have individual freight shipping charges due to their weight or size. Freight charges are shown below the product's price and are determined by your delivery zone. See Truck Motor Freight Zone Shipping Map above to determine your shipping zone.

*Note - Freight costs are based on shipping to "Direct Points - No Interlines", meaning shipment reaches you by the Same Freight Line. If interlined (transferred from one freight line to another), or delivered to remote or high-cost delivery areas, we will call you prior to shipping, to advise you of extra cost. You may want to pick up your shipment at a nearby freight terminal to save extra cost. When picking up at terminal, please have adequate tie-down straps to secure your load; and be sure your vehicle/trailer is capable of handling the load. Identification will be required.

TRUCK FREIGHT DELIVERY - Allow 3-21 business days from the date shipped. Actual time will depend on delivering carrier. Some residential areas will not accommodate semi trailers, and it will be necessary that you pick up the freight at the local terminal or have the freight delivered to a business. You are responsible for both incoming and outgoing freight, should your shipment be refused.

PHONE PRIOR TO DELIVERY - The freight carrier can guarantee to call you prior to delivery. The cost for this service is about $20-$25. However, most carriers do call before attempting delivery 24-48 hours prior at no cost. Always furnish two or three phone numbers for this purpose.

TRUCK FREIGHT UNLOADING - Motor Freight Carriers are not responsible for unloading. They will move the freight to the end of the truck (Tailgate Delivery). It is the customer's responsibility to remove the freight off truck and into their garage or shop. The truck driver is not obligated to assist in unloading. Please have adequate equipment and help to unload your shipment at time of delivery, as truck lines are unable to wait. Unload or Liftgate Service is available at extra cost.

UNLOAD or LIFTGATE SERVICE - Offered on most items shipped by truck motor freight. This extra cost option is available at the time the order is taken and is in addition to the Truck Freight charge (ask for cost when placing your order). The freight carrier will do one of the following:

  • The equipment will be placed on the liftgate of the truck and lowered to the ground. The driver will then take the equipment off the liftgate.
  • If no liftgate on the delivering truck, the freight carrier may lower the equipment to the ground.

Once off the liftgate or truck, the customer assumes responsibility for any further placement or delivery of the equipment. This service is a per shipment charge. If necessary to interline, 2 charges will apply.

INSPECTION/DAMAGE - You MUST inspect your shipment for damage PRIOR to signing the truck motor freight bill of lading. If noticeable damage occurs, please note "DAMAGED" on the truck motor freight bill of lading prior to signing. Save all packing materials, cartons and report the damage claim immediately. Call TP Tools Customer Service at 1-800-321-9260 for assistance. If damage occurred and was NOT noted on the freight bill when delivered, the freight line will NOT honor a claim at a later date, since the freight was signed free and clear of damage.


SALES TAX - TP Tools will collect and remit state sales tax on your purchase for the following states: AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NJ, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI & WV. For all other states, TP Tools is not obligated to, and does not collect sales tax on your purchase. For most states, your purchase is still subject to your state's tax law, unless it is specifically exempt from taxation. We suggest that you review your state's rules considering the payment of a use tax on these purchases, and details for reporting your untaxed purchases, filing a return, and paying any applicable sales tax. Check with your state's tax department for more information. If you are tax exempt, please visit our website and download, fill out, and return your state's sales tax exempt form prior to ordering. DAMAGE - If noticeable damage occurs to the carton or merchandise prior to delivery, please note "DAMAGED" when signing the FedEx, USPS, or Truck Freight bill. Save all packing materials and cartons, and report damage claim immediately. Call TP Customer Service at 1-800-321-9260 if you need further assistance.

AK, HI, PR, VI, GUAM, and CANADA - Call for shipping/freight costs and method of shipping. Extra processing costs may apply. Paint/liquid products cannot be shipped to these areas.

All Shipping & Packaging, Heavy/Oversize, and Truck Shipping charges are nonrefundable.

FUEL SURCHARGE - Due to increasing fuel costs, a fuel surcharge may be added to your order. We thank you for understanding.

COMPONENT PARTS - When deducting a component part from a unit or package, an allowance of 50% of the list price of the component part will be used to arrive at the adjusted price. Parts and items in our catalog or on our website are intended for replacement of “wear items” or for normal maintenance of products offered by TP Tools and are not intended for resale or any other purpose. Accordingly, we reserve the right to limit quantities of certain components or products. Safety First information is sent with every order.


WE DO NOT EXPORT outside of the US AND CANADA; nor do we send catalogs or correspond via e-mail, fax, mail or phone outside of the US and Canada. However, our catalog and products are available as follows:

A) CONTACT IN THE US: If you have a friend or contact who reside in the US, ask that they request a catalog in their name online or by calling 1-800-321-9260. Or, you may request the catalog in their name (remember to include their complete US address, including zip code). We will send our catalog via 1st class mail to them, and they can forward the catalog to you. If you later want to place an order, this order must be placed by your US contact and paid for by their credit card or money order. We will then ship your order to them. (We do not accept international credit cards.) Your contact will have the responsibility of shipping the order to you by best available means. We deal only with your US contact. Thank you.
