Foam Pads Cool the Surface
TP Tools® Foam Pads have a cool vent pattern cut in the foam which opens up as the polishing machine is in operation, relieving pressure on the painted surface to "cool-it". This traps excess polish and compound and keeps the surface lubricated and cooled to help prevent swirls, paint burns, separation and graying. Recessed hook & loop backing and centering hole. 8" diameter x 2" thick.
PPI - Pores per inch. The lower the number of ppi, the coarser or more aggressive the foam pad will be. The higher the ppi, the finer the foam pad will be.

- SM-44-768 Buffing Yellow Foam Pad, 50 ppi - polyester foam pad, soft, pliable and tough. Specially-designed for light compounding and paint oxidation removal on all finishes. 8" dia x 2" thick with cool vents.
