"3-IN-1" Urethane Primer (2K) DTM Direct-to-Metal - Most Popular! High-Build (Etches, Fills, and Seals!)
Recommended for application directly to bare or sanded metal, sandblasted metal, or right over any existing finish. This primer does it all! It etches to bare metal; covers & fills in sand scratches and imperfections - high-builds; and with extra thinning, can be used as a sealer. Sands easy with no shrinking. Provides an excellent base for topcoats. Top coat with enamels, urethanes, waterbased basecoat/clearcoat systems, or lacquers. This primer eliminates the need for 3 different products and will save you money.
4:1 mix ratio (4 parts primer to 1 part required TP Tools® Catalyst - sold separately, see below). Thin with urethane reducer (below) for medium build. Spray with 1.4 to 1.8 mm. 50-state compliant.
