It installs effortlessly between your blast cabinet and vacuum system, converting it into a two-stage system (see 2nd photo left). The "Skat Trap" serves as a pre-filter in front of your Skat Blast® Vacuum, extending the life of your vacuum components.

Patent-pending cyclonic action with an internal baffle efficiently separates, traps, and catches over 98% of fine and coarse abrasive dust particles into the 14-gallon collection drum, which is easily emptied for disposal. Enjoy increased visibility inside the cabinet while blasting, thanks to a consistently clean air stream reaching your vacuum system. With over 98% of dust collected in the "Skat Trap", less than 2% reaches the vacuum system, minimizing HEPA filter or bag cleaning and extending its lifespan.
