Metal piping is the way to go when setting up shop. Not only will you provide air without the tangle of air hose; you will also reduce moisture in the lines to almost zero.
It works like this: when the hot, moisture laden air from the compressor hits the cold metal pipes, the vapor turns to water where it can be easily removed by the separator.
